Cisco Live 2020: Autonomous Maze

Left. Right. Up. Down. Backwards. Forwards.
This amazing journey will test your sense of direction and challenge your strategic reasoning.
Two teams of three players must each control a vehicle in a race through the ‘Autonomous Maze’. The AI Connected Autonomous Vehicles will of course make their own way, and act as a guide.
But do your team follow the platoon? Or do you think you know a quicker way?

PROJECT SYNERGY: THE EASY WAY FROM A TO B.
In collaboration with Cisco, Project Synergy are introducing innovative technologies to cities around the world – operating connected autonomous vehicles in a platoon formation.
A platoon of three pods will transit passengers to and from pre-determined departure points and destinations. e.g. a railway terminus to an airport passenger terminal.
Keeping CAVs (connected autonomous vehicles) in a platoon formation results in lower fuel consumption or increased range for electric vehicles, as they drive closer together at a constant speed, with less braking and accelerating.
Research has shown 90% of all traffic accidents are due to human error. Platooning these vehicles helps improve safety. By using roads more effectively platooning optimises transport – helping move people and goods faster while also reducing traffic congestion.
