Further on from my last post, and the evolution of TweetSweets is pretty obvious.
Go BIG!
So, anyone got a vending machine lying around?
Taking it further, why not send a unique PIN to the User and add an ID keypad or NFC (sorry iPhone users) to a vending machine.
- User tweets
- User gets a free beverage/sweets/crisps/anything-else-that-can-be-crammed-in-the-machine.
- Happy Brand Manager has data collection based on Users twitter name; in true BBC-style, other social networks are available.
What about a social context, feed your cat/dog whilst away.
Sure you can get a Time Released Pet Food Dispenser, but this would let you checkin on Tiddles, and see they’re okay. This way you get a photo when they stop by the food bowl.
Reminds me a bit of Ellie Harrison’s RSS-triggered machine. http://www.ellieharrison.com/index.php?pagecolor=3&pageId=project-vendingmachine
Nice! Hadn’t seen that before. Thanks
Very cool machine, I really like the idea of incorporating it into a dog feeder / camera.
Thanks! Maybe I’ll do that next week – there’s a few dogs that come into the office. Will post up if I do.
